One supposed method of curing nausea is to eat ginger snaps. I first heard this from my pregnant cousin. She told me that she would eat ginger snaps every time she felt nauseous. She claimed they always made her feel better. One article found on http://www.umm.edu/altmed/articles/ginger-000246.htm describes a few different studies done with ginger. According to this site ginger helps with motion sickness, pregnancy induced nausea, nausea and vomiting, and even helped with inflammation in people with osteoarthritis of the knee. I would suggest this remedy to people as long as they are aware of drug interactions and contact their physician first to discuss potential risks and benefits. As long as everyone is using home remedies safely and know all possible side effects then I think they are fine.
