People use the Internet everyday to self diagnose themselves. Why? It is true that there is a ton of useful information on the Internet. In case you missed it, the key word in that last sentence is TON. How are you able to sort through all of the information out there to even begin to diagnose yourself? Many people don't know which websites to use and end up using a site such as Wikipedia and just freak themselves out thinking they have cancer with a month to live. Personally, I would leave the diagnosing to the doctors. That is after all what they are here for. However, if you feel the excessive urge to surf the web and diagnose yourself, make sure you are doing your research and use reliable sites. Listed below are sites you can use and sites about the danger of self diagnosing.

Generic vs Brand Name Products
Everyone has their own opinion on what drugs they want to use; some brand name and some generic. While it is true that some generic drugs have inactivated ingredients that their brand name counter parts have, it doesn’t mean that they are less effective. Everyone is different and that means drugs will work differently in each person. One person can get the most severe side effects, while someone else gets no side effects at all. My personal experience in switching from a brand name drug to a generic brand was actually positive. I had noticeable side effects with the brand name drug and no noticeable side effects with the generic drug. When it comes down to it, it is all up to you and your health care provider. By talking to your provider you can not only find the “safest” drug for you, but also one that your pocket can afford. For more information visit the following sites,
